Skin Care Rules

Your skin type, whether it's dry, oily, or a veritable combo platter, is largely determined by your genes.

It’s tempting to hold tight to your “skin type” and assume it never changes. It DOES change. And those changes make a big difference in how your skin should be treated.

Your skin care strategies will change when your skin “type” undergoes a change. The important thing to do is to pay attention to how your skin looks, feels and behaves and reassess your skin care routine as you notice differences.

If I’m sure about my skin type, can’t I just pick products myself?

Of course you can. Just take the time to understand how those products are supposed to work and be careful in choosing multiple products that you may be layering. So, again for today, I'll share chararteristics and how to care for every skin types. Stay tune & check it out!

SKIN CARE RULES : NORMAL SKIN
  • Chararteristics : A skin type that has proper water-oil balance and less prone to troubled skin.
  • How To Care : Best to maintain current skin care routine.

SKIN CARE RULES : DRY SKIN
  • Characteristics : Small pores make face feel tight and dry after cleansing. Due to the lack of oil and moisture, the skin surface has less elasticity and becomes dry.
  • How To Care : Use a rich moituriser for water-oil balance as well as oil so that the moisture will not evaporate.

SKIN CARE RULES : OILY SKIN
  • Characteristics : Pores are larger and makeup may be erased more easily. Since have larger pores and have more sebum production, skin gets easily irritated, notice more blackheads on nose.
  • How To Care : After exfoliating, deeply moiturize the skin, it's reccommend to use water-gel moisturiser. Use a vitamin serum or cream that will brighten dull skin.

SKIN CARE RULES : COMBINATION SKIN
  • Characteristics : Have both dry and oily skin. T-zone area has oily, while other areas such as cheeks and around mouth is dry.
  • How To Care : Fully moisturise the T-zone area and give enough oil and moisture in the U-zone area.

SKIN CARE RULES : SENSITIVE SKIN
  • Characteristics : The outer layer is thinner than other layers so it is more sensitive, can't use just any product and it gets irritated easily from the outer environment.
  • How To Care : Use a mild product.

I did some research from beauty guru blogs, google, youtuber, they are saying that make sure to use hydrating products if you want to be safe. This products are suitable for every skin types. So good luck in choosing your skincare products. xx
