1) TYPES OF SUNSCREEN

Physical Sunscreen

Ingredients : Zinc oxide, titanium oxide.
How Does It Work : Create a physical barrier on the surface of the skin.
Reccomended For : Even sensitive skin will feel less irritated.
White Cast : May leave a white cast on the skin.
When to Apply : Protects the skin immediately after application.

Chemical Sunscreen

Ingredients : Octylcrylen, avobenzone, octinixate.
How Does It Work : Penetrates dermis and epidermis (Absorb the UV rays before it reaches the dermis layer).
White Cast : Tends to not leave white cast (Consistent coverage).
When to Apply : Must be applied minutes before being exposed to the sun.

Hybrid Sunscreen = Physical Sunscreen + Chemical Sunscreen 



2) PERFECT SUN PROTECTION GUIDE

How Much Should I Wear? 

2mg per square meter or squeeze out the sunscreen along two joints of your index finger. 

When to Apply Sunscreen?

After morning cleansing

How to Apply Sunscreen?

1. Squeeze out the reccomended amount of the sunscreen.
2. Dot it evenly along the face without missing a spot. 
3. Apply it evenly using hands. 
4. For easier application, use a cushion puff. 

Reapplication of Sunscreen

Why? 

As time passes, the sun protection level decreases making skin vulnerable to UV rays.

When to Reapply?

Both indoors or outdoors. Reapply sunscreen every 3-4 hours during daylight time.

When You DON'T HAVE MAKEUP ON

Reapply a generous amount of the sunscreen onto the skin. When outside, rather than using hands, try using makeup puff for sanitary reasons. 

When You HAVE MAKEUP ON

Use a base makeup product (foundation, BB cream) with SPF level and layer it on top. But be aware that base makeup products have lower sun protection compared to sun lotion. 

When Skin Becomes Oily

1. Apply the toner onto cotton pad.
2. Gently wipe away the oil areas or dirt off from the skin. 
3. Reapply the sunscreen.

How to Remove Sunscreen?

Double cleansing is the key to removing sunscreen off from the face even if you don't have any makeup on.
